My name is Jeffrey W. Frye and I love playing video games, especially fantasy style RPGs, and at the age of 40 I decided to try the an old high school dream of mine and that's trying things on the development end of things. Am I a bit late to the party? Sure but my hearts in the right place. The other more obvious question here is why now all of a sudden!? Well back in high school I tried to learn how to program and within a few days I was quickly discouraged by not being able to pickup on it as quickly as I thought I should've and left the idea alone after that for the following 20+ years but that's not to mention I had already had my nose up the arse of my only other life long passion which is classic rock and old heavy metal.
They way I look at it it's never to late to pick up new hobbies, shit I may even pick up the guitar again and finish learning how to play the dang thing. In fact in some respects you could consider me something of a late bloomer and especially given that I didn't learn how to truly appreciate and live life until May 25th 2023 when I met my current love by the name of Katie. And speaking of Katie she's the first lady friend that I ever had a romantic interest in my entire 40 year existence. Kinda hard to believe but... um.... yeah it's totally true and I'll swear by it. To me I find nothing wrong with being a late bloomer as I'm sure there's a pretty good amount of middle aged folks that got a late start.
